Can anyone give me an example of what a typical p-value question would look like? I have never seen any in Destroyer so I was wondering what it entailed and how you would go about solving it. Thanks for the help!

Yeah... I don't think the DAT does p-value questions? It would have to be a true false question if anything, or something like, "a p value of 0.04 means what." I really wouldn't worry about it, especially if it's not under the scope of the DAT on those lists of topics.

So what is a p-value and how are the questions worded like. What are the asking for in the question?

A P value is a measure of statistical significance. If the P value is below 0.05, you can more or less assume that whatever you are testing is due to the hypothesis you have, opposed to simply random events. This is a very simple way of explaining it, and thus isn't totally 100% correct, but it gets the point across.

so in other words you're saying it doesn't involve any calculation? I vaguely remember reading it off of a chart in an intro to stats class freshman year but don't know how that value was derived...but if it's less than .05 then the null hypothesis is rejected correct?
