Do you get paid anything while on your 4th year rotations? Do you attend lectures or things on campus after your third year, or is it only rotations? Thanks!!

Only if you work outside of doing rotations. Depending on your program, you may have to attend a weekly seminar.

Do you really have much time to work outside of rotations? I assumed those were 40 hrs a week.

you can probably put in a few hours on the weekends

but each rotation will vary depending on your site or preceptor

like for me, i can do a 8 to 4 at rotation then 6-10 for work

honestly, i would relax a little bit because you have the rest of your life to work

No, you do not get paid, you pay the school tuition for the opportunity to do rotations.

This question has been answered many times if you feel like doing a search.

Ha, if your rotations cover more than the fall and spring semesters, you also get to pay for the extra time that your rotations cover.
I will be doing 8 rotations so I will have to pay for 10 more credits besides my normal tuition. What a ripoff.

This year, I am full-time for fall/spring semesters, and part time for the summer semester. I chose to be part time because I can afford to pay the tuition. Part timers in the summer don't get financial aid.

Let's say you pay 34,500 a year for tuition (some of us shell out a pretty penny for pharm school)...you're PAYING about $200/day just to be there.

Just some advice from my experience in 4th year. Some rotations you may only work about 40 hours/week. But then I had some rotations where I was onsite 60+ hours/week. Then I spent time at home working on projects and presentations. I worked 3 days/week P1-P3, but I only worked once a month during 4th year. My time became very precious, and I didn't want to exhaust myself to the point that I would hate the profession.
So don't plan on working too much during 4th year. If you have extra time and you can work, then great...go for it.
