Just hoping for some advice on how to study most effectively. I have the printouts and use Quizlet but not sure whether to memorize numbers, actual law designation numbers, etc. Not looking for answers or super direct suggestions. But like how the practice exams for the EPPP were pretty spot on, I’ve heard nightmare stories that the PPLE is so convoluted “normal” studying isn’t the right thing to do. tyia for any suggestions.

1) spend 20 minutes reading the laws. Basically determine if you can admit someone to a hospital or not, and the age of consent for releasing inform. Otherwise you report any suspicion of kiddie diddlng, make reports of concern led, and abide by court orders if someone is divorced.

2) spend the night before in some activity that will dull your cognitive abilities. This test is written by administrators. Drink heavily. Beat
Your head against a wall. Watch Adam Sandler movies. Let some poly person tell you how it will anll laid out great. Wake up, shove your head into a bag of jello, while reciting the score of Oklahoma.

I’m more of a Cats or Evita gal but the rest is daily grind. TY!

Someone posted here a while back about their difficulties, and I'll second again that it's a weirdly tricky test. I mostly studied by reading the laws over and over, but the questions are all application rather than regurgitation. I wish there was more out there to help people prepare, but if there is I never saw it!

I did read that - your insight about it is really helpful though. Thank you!

I found it to be a manageable test. I read the law documents several times and actively memorized things as I went, and then I found quizlets online that people had made that were useful. I agree that the questions are more of an applied format than I had expected but overall I didn't find that to be a problem. Good luck!

Thank you so much!

The study guide is helpful, despite being a frustrating purchase. The test is tricky for a few reasons, one of which is that there are only 30 questions, so a few incorrect answers can cause failure.

I did get the study guide and yes, that hurt to purchase 😂 thank you so much.

Passed! I thought it was a very fair test and agree that learning and being able to use the laws to answer application questions more than regurgitated answers is a good track for study.
