So I'm a semester away from graduating. I have previously applied to PA programs but had to cancel my applications because I was unable to graduate on time due to the classes I needed no longer being offered. Anyway, at the time of application I will have a 2.99 overall GPA (so close!) but will graduate with at least a 3.0. My science GPA is above a 3.0, but not by much. What are my chances of being accepted here? I have well over 1000 hours of shadowing and medical experience, as well. Do I have a shot? Should I consider some sort of post-bac program? Does anyone know of any PA programs I would have a better chance of getting into?

Thanks so much!

PA school may be tough. A lot of places have a 3.5 GPA and several thousand hours of experience as an average. It may be a good idea to up your experience and retake some courses before applying.

There is a PA website that is like SDN. Google "PA forum" and see if you can find it. You should post your questions there as you are more likely to find the information that you need rather than here.
