PA salary?

Hi. I'm currently a post bac student considering taking the PA route instead of the MD route. I was just wondering, what would a PA earn in a metropolitan city like LA? I know asking this may make me appear to be shallow, but since I'd like to live in LA (homes are expensive 😡 ), salary is definitely a consideration. Thanks.

BTW, I am interested in working in ER or OR. And I think about 80K would be fine .

AVG PA SALARY NATIONWIDE = 76 K, MORE FOR SPECIALTIES. ER/ORTHO/SURGERY RANGE = 80-125 K AFTER A FEW YEARS.
