Did you interview Nov 6?Thanks! 🙂
This may have been addressed indirectly, but do any pre-Dec 1 interviewees get rejected from Pacific? If so, why? Anyone have this experience in the past? (Yes, I have the post-interview jitters...)
I was Nov 6. I met some nice people, but forgot to take their names.Oct 30. You? And I was thinking, Pacific said they interviewed about 300 last year so I'm not sure how I feel about those stats...

Did you fall asleep during the interview?
hey ~ I interviewed on Nov 6 too 🙂!!!I was Nov 6. I met some nice people, but forgot to take their names.
i will be interviewing there in January but I was told it is for the class...not wait list.
I was told that story too on Oct 16th hehe
Also one of my best friends just called UoP...they are 100% completely filled for interviews through February and for the class....any interviews from now on will only be for the alternate list.

Here's a thread that show the interview/acceptance ratio from the 2008 ADEA Official Guide to DS.

Last year, UoP interviewed 120 and accepted 119 (99.16%). Those are pretty good odds!

I'd suggest being yourself and trying to relax. I had a great interview experience at Pacific. It was fleet week and the blue angels were flying all over the city. It was ridiculous.
I interviewed the week after...they were making fun of your interview group because Dr. Nadershahi was supposedly talking in the room with the window view of the golden gate bridge and all you guys were doing were looking at the blue angels flying above you guys and ignoring him 🙂
actually he was facing the window, which means our backs were to the window when we were facing him. he would point out good flights for us to turn and watch... would you not look out the window when a faculty suggested it??? i highly doubt the faculty at U of P would as you say "make fun of" the other interviewers but go ahead and think that if it makes you feel better
It's just a funny anecdote, learn to take a joke.
I was a wee bit drunk when I posted the above post, so ignore the "why so serious" Joker quote 😛
