Oh the plus side that MMR link is an interesting historical read.
From 1981 it refers to a number of PCP cases in homosexual men who were also CMV+ ....
Looks like that dates to pre-'GRIS' and definately pre-'AIDS' terminology.

We now call it PJP when we see it in our biopsies or BALs. But we are told to be careful when dealing with community pulmonologists who lack the intellectual sophistication to know that PCP is a disease of rats as the organism p. carinii only infects rats.
