Has anyone done these paid pharmacist surveys for market research?

How much were you paid?

Positives? Negatives?

I fully anticipate my company cutting hours/pay about 15% by next year...I already have a property that doesn't cash flow positive so I'm looking to supplement my income so I can eventually get into a property that does.

I do Pinecone Research, which pays $3 per survey, and Brand Institute, which pays $15. PR sends out questionnaires about new products (and sometimes sends out samples of those products) and BI is right up our alley, because it's about names for new drugs. I rarely go more than a week without a PR survey; however, I may go a month or two without getting a BI survey.

You can be paid through either Pay Pal or a check; I chose the check option and bring them to the credit union down the street every few weeks. It helps but I wouldn't rely on it.

Why is your company cutting?

I've done surveys through both Brand Institute and Sermo (the later paying $25-60 per survey). As above, the money varies, the surveys seem to come in waves, and the payout takes time if you want a check and not an amazon gift card or whatnot.

I did them often as a student and a resident but now the effective hourly pay is less than my current job. Good money for the bar/coffee-shop/pick your poison, though.

How long do the PR surveys take? Care to refer me for the referral bonus?

PM me your e-mail address and I'll refer you there.

Most of the Pinecone surveys take about 5 or 10 minutes, and they often send samples of new products. The most valuable thing I've gotten so far was a bra (which unfortunately didn't fit).

Darn I get this message when I try to sign up for Pinecone:

"Thank you for your interest in PineCone Research. Unfortunately, there" are no available openings for members with a household make-up that aligns with yours at this time. However we will keep your registration for a few weeks in case a spot opens up.

If you have any questions, please email [email protected]"

The addyi survey paid out $75. That's the only one I recall doing.

Cvs did cut all floaters in my area base pay to 30 hours a week. Still fairly easy to make 40 hours with picking up shifts but schedule could be random and unpredictable.

You can find focus groups in your area that will pay you anywhere from $200-350 for an hour of your time. If you refer your colleagues they will sometimes give you a referral of 50-100$. They usually ask you a few screening questions before to see if you qualify. Ive done many of these over the phone at scheduled times and after the interview they mail me a gift card or check as the honorarium.

Can you refer me to Pinecone Research?
