I run the journal club for my group. I belong to APS and get the usual throwaway journals. I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a quality, clinically oriented journal.

I am aware that Pain Physician Journal is free online and I sometimes use it, but the authors are often the same from month to month (getting better though).

Any thoughts? Is the Clinical Journal of Pain any good?

what a sad commentary on the literature that no one has any good suggestions, and it is not obvious what is the best source.

Clinical journal of pain is ok...

Hi Jcm,
Agree that I was hoping for more. I guess it's just not me. There are many journals, and they vary widely in their viewpoints. It's hard to know what is mainstream.

Maybe the insurance companies should just publish a journal since they seem to dictate what we do.

Maybe there will be more responses as time goes by. Thanks for hour comment.

I usually read...
Pain Medicine (AAPM)
Pain Physician
Neuromodulation (NANS)
PM&R (AAPM&R)

This is what I usually read:

1) Pain Physician
2) Pain Medicine (blue journal by ISIS, AAPM,etc)
3) Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine
4) Pain Medicine "News"
