hey guys, was wondering if anyone had an opinion on either a pain or addiction fellowship. I was told by several of my attendings that it is probably not worth the time doing an addiction fellowship, but it could be helpful in billing purposes. Pain seems to be something not many people could give me a clear idea on. I know most psychiatrists will not be doing procedures, but then what exactly does the fellowship train you in ( i am guessing medication titration?). On Frieda, there are very few (i think one) fellowship in pain management for psychiatrists, but it seems like hundreds for pm&r and anest. Can a psychiatrist apply for these spots? any help would be appreciated
