For those who have a palm PDA, what drug guide do you recommend?

I've heard good things about ePocrates. Should I get the free download or fork out the money for the pro edition? I'm looking for something complete, up-to-date, and easy-to-use. I might try mobile PDR- but it seems too thick.

Thanks.

I tried the PDA version of the PDR, but I didn't like it. I have the free ePocrates now & like it much better. 🙂

How's that path coming?

Thanks mom.

Just started genetics tonight if that's any indication at all. Christmas break really sucked away all my desire to study. I'm running on fear now.

Yup, nothing beats the free version of epocrates. It's updated pretty frequently, I've looked up drugs within a few weeks of new drugs being approved by the FDA and epocrates had info on them. It's definitely not neccessary to purchase the pro-version for med school purposes. Another good free drug guide is the "Johns Hopkins antibiotics" guide.

Another vote for Epocrates (I have the paid Pro version, but only because I have a Pocket PC).

d free version of epocrates is nice coz well its free and it gets free updates too. the only thing that isnt nice about it is that it doesnt pharmacokinetics-dynamics details

Epocrates - the mechanism of action descriptions are pretty poor in addition to the pharico-kinectics/dynamics

Lexi-Comp/Lexidrugs is pretty good but costs $ and isnt updated as easily

mobile microMedex is not bad and free
