Had a CF 72 provided to me by my employer for a couple years. Technically speaking, it was a good laptop. Quite heavy though for what you get because of the ruggedization. In my opinion, toughbooks are really only useful for people who work out in the field. I have a Thinkpad which has a built-in accelerometer that parks the hard drive if it detects any unusual accelerations (eg. falling laptop). It will keep your data protected at a fraction of the weight/cost of a Toughbook.
