I paid for AADSAS on Aug 2 ..i saw something appear on info source now. However, the info source does not have the complete profile of mine..I wonder what is still missing...i called the schools but they said AADSAS has not sent them my file. What is happening?? It's mid Sept already. i am really worried....and the 18003532237 number never works for me..it seems like i am kicked out or sthg..........does my info source has problem or i still need to wait?? 😕 undefinedundefined

Try e-mailing them and keep trying their phone number. I know one time it took me several days of calling 4 or 5 times a day and finally I got through. Keep on trying to call them. I also sent an e-mail and even though they indicate that they'll try to get e-mail you within 48 hrs, it took them a lot longer to get back to me, either way they did and I was surprised to get an e-mail from them. If I was you, I would keep trying the phone, it seems to be the faster route.

there 800 number is really shady... keep trying you'll get thru... Thank G for the technology of redial... you have to keep trying... once you get through... you have to wait... the longest I've waited was for 30 minutes.... good luck!

it did get thru??? it got thru sometimes but then later on it transfered to a voice msg...i have been calling for days...20+ a day...still not able to get thru...
i need to ask them why infosource does not show up all my info...how long does it usually take them to send package to dental school?
ppl are starting to have interviews...... 🙁

if you're talking about the computer voice that says " we are experiencing high call volume.." yada yada yada... that goes on every so minutes... you just have to wait thru those...

I always had good luck with emailing them, so I would suggest that if you are having a hard time connecting to a CSR, then simply send them a message detailing everything and they will give you a prompt reply (within a day).

Well the people who are getting interviews are those that applied in June! You can't expect it to be done overnight if you've waited until august to apply. I would guess that it would take probably 6-8 weeks to send your AADSAS out to the schools if you applied in August. There are approximately 8000 applicants each year, the majority coming between the first of june and the end of August. Your application is probably floating around their office with 4000 others! I've heard from last years applicants that it took them about 6 weeks if they applied after July. Don't stress out...It will all get done eventually but do keep trying to call them. Now you're finding out that there was a reason that everyone always tells you to apply early. You'll be fine I'm sure, don't stress out too much. Good luck!

exactly. ppl..please don't panic. it makes me more nervous considering i am only submitting my aadsas in late november. also, those who have solid stats and are applying to schools with march 1st 2005 deadlines..be cool. it will be fine. submitting later means aadsas will process you faster as well.

thx.i do know i should apply early...but my personal statement makes it slow down....i need sb to edit it and i had a hard time finding sb..i came to canada to study just 3 years ago ..and of course english is not my strongest field.. 🙁
and during school year i studied for DAT and my courses..i am not finding excuse but that 's the reality...so u guess those dental schools i applied will get it like around oct??

what do you mean by infosource missing some of your info?
keep in mind that some schools may not send info back to infosource.

have you received the "confirmation" form with all your stats from aadsas?
r stuff missing there?

Yes, stay on the line. I don't think they supply any muzak (darn, I do love listening to Kenny G or Michael Bolton second hand through a phone speaker) so stay on the line. Doing so will hold your place in the phone queue so that the next available representative can cheerfully take your request.

YUP!!! stay put on the line... we could only wish that they played some kind of music... elevator variety even... but nothing... its just dead air.... and suddenly.. every so often that annoying voice comes on and says "we are experiencing extremely high call volume ...." which is bull I think cuz i've called at 8 est .....same length of time on hold... but me not complaining... one way or another.... dental school or bust!

damn...i heard she say "...have a nice day" i thought i need to call again!!..i have another question though..I don't have a bachelor degree...actually i will finish 3 years of study (getting 90 sem units) before getting into dental school (if i get accepted...).therefore i still meet their minimum requirement..my GPA so far is around 3.3 and my DAT is (AA=24, TS=24, PAT=21)...will my application be seriously affected because i am still working towards 3 years??will i still get interviews? anybody would do that like me?? 😕

I recall being hung up on a couple of times by the system. I think that if the call queue is too full then their dialer will simply kick you off. In that case call right back and see if you can get a spot or call back early next morning when the call volume should be lower.
