I read earlier threads and people said the due date on PTCAS due date is that date where all the materials including LOR's, essay etc.. have to be submitted.

However, today I looked the college I wanted to apply to and it says, the due date 12/1/2017 is the date where the application has to be verified by.

So I am basically screwed? Only 5 more days for application to be verified because I just submitted it.

guys help please.

Online it says: "Enter your Canadian coursework on your application; however, this coursework will not be verified or factored into your PTCAS GPAs"

so does that mean my application won't need verification process

All of your material needs to be submitted and verified by PTCAS before the school due date. So make sure all your material says "verified" by the school's deadline otherwise your application will be incomplete. For example I applied to UCF and my GRE scores were not verified prior their due date. They were verified two days after the deadline. UCF informed me my application would not be reviewed because it was incomplete. I contacted the university and they said no exceptions would be made.

In regards to your coursework from Canada make sure you contact PTCAS. From my understanding all of your college transcripts need to be submitted and verified since it counts towards your comulative GPA. I had a similar situation where I was missing transcripts from a community college I attended to a couple of semesters. I had to requedt transcripts and send them overnight to PTCAS to have them verified in 4 days since that's how much time I had to submit my application to some of the programs I applied to. Thankfully everything worked out.

Thanks for replying.

I looked everywhere and they say the samething:

"The PTCAS GPAs include all United States college courses with grades and credit hours at all United States regionally accredited institutions, including repeated courses."

"PTCAS will NOT…
-verify Canadian courses
-include Canadian courses in GPAs
-hold for missing Canadian transcripts"

Yea hopefully. I was just confused and scared.

I really don't know what happens after. Does my application require verification before submission and if so what does verification means for a Canadian application. If they verify my transcript and grades, then what is there to verify?

Not sure, I would just submit it now. My verifications took from one day to three days.
Sometimes it shows verified minutes after you submit it.
The first time I submitted an application PTCAS had it on hold because I was missing transcripts from that school I told you earlier. After they received the transcripts it took like 2 days for them to verify it.
They will let you know if you're missing material.

hmm, that's interesting. Only 3 days? That's fast considering how it says it can take up 4-5 weeks.

Hopefully mine is as quick (I submitted mine last night btw). And I think I am missing any material. Got LOR's, essay etc.. and submitted my transcript like 3 months ago

are you from states btw?

Yes I am from Florida. I applied to the following universities and it didn't take more than 3 days to show verified on all of my applications.
University of Central Florida
Nova southeastern
University of Florida
University of South Florida
University of New England
Thomas Jefferson

Arkansas State University

did you just submit it? or your talking about previous yrs exp?

No, that was this year late October to be exact. I already have two interviews scheduled next month.

GOOD LUCK to you.

I received a notification saying your transcript has been verified and under check status for one school I applied to, it says "verified"

does that mean I am good now?

Can't believe it took them only 1 day. I submitted late night Thursday so friday+sat+sun were holidays.

Thanks 🙂

final question. If I have PT experience does that go in the experience section under volunteering?

If it was paid I would put it as part of your "resume" if it was volunteer then put it as your shadowing hours.

doesn't shadowing mean just observing the therapist? What if I have done a bit more than just observing?
