Does anyone know if you have to write a lot of papers in pharmacy school?

So far in the first year, I'm currently taking a class called Service Learning. Every week I volunteer at a service site and then afterwards I write a "journal" of my experience. Some classmates of mine write half a page. Mine tend to be twice as long or longer. Also for this class, we have a 8-10 page paper on specific topics due the week before finals.

I'm not sure how writing extensive the rest of my curriculum is.
