I have an interview at Downstate and I know valet there is $10 which I'm not so hot about. I read somewhere here that there's a cheaper parking lot down the street - can anyone tell me where that is?

Have you ever street parked? (my god please say yes) The area closeby is residential and you can definitely find parking if you don't mind walking 4-5 blocks.
