Hi,
So I'm a junior at a large Big-10 Research university. This semester has been really hard for me, and since I miserably failed my first physics exam (second half of the course), I dropped it in order to retake and get a better grade next semester. The stress had been making me really ill, and I've also been struggling with an eating disorder I need to get under control. However, I am now at 11 credits, which puts me as a part-time student. I have a 3.5 GPA and about a 3.3 sGPA. I plan on taking the DAT in February and have been preparing for that.
The big question is: Will being a part-time student this semester really hurt my chances of getting into dental school, especially in the initial stages?
Next semester I will be full time and taking hard, upper level sciences.
