Hi y'all!
I'm writing this because I've used SDN throughout studying for motivation and help. I wanted to write this to pay it forward, to give hope to those who have failed and felt hopeless. DON'T GIVE UP!!! So, I want to give some background, i'm and average student who has to take time to study, not one of those who just read it once and know it by heart. The first time i took the exam was august 2017. I used RXPREP, got so overwhelmed with the amount of information and rushed through the chapters needing to finish them by my exam date. Should of just rescheduled it. Learn from my mistake if you don't feel confident reschedule because it's better to spend 50 bucks than 575 and wait all over again. i checked the early trick and i got a NULL, got a 63. Felt like crap. I felt RXPrep was overwhelming and the math was not enough. The 2nd time I used Passed Naplex Now. the information got to the point and easy to learn. I still used RXPREP acronyms like GPACMAN etc. and references. I was getting 90s in the RXPREP math quizzes AND PNN but on the 2nd try of the naplex i thought i passed, but i didn't, the paper said i passed the info portion and failed the math/stat/reference portion, score was 73. That number killed me. two points away and i was so frustrated. 3rd time i knew my info so i stuck with PNN wrote my own notes Tmir notes are a good bases but i had to write my own notes to retain it in my mind ('ll try attaching the notes to this thread, but i suggest writing your own so it makes more sense) Tahur was such a motivation and others, for math i did the whole shabang: PNN, RXPREP book only like twice, SDN 120 multiple times. pronto pass math (i split the cards into categories; useless, good Qs, hard questions (know them), and pharmacyquestionbank (really good for math and Stats). I came out of the test feeling like crap, wasn't sure if i passed it. felt worse than the second time. i didn't check NABP early for the trick to know if you pass, i enjoyed my time being naive and just waited for the paper but when the paper didnt come and it had been a month i checked online i had the REVIEW SCORE, TRANSFER SCORE...didnt know if it was still relevant with the update so i checked SDN and someone said check CPE monitor so i did and that said "you have recently taken the NAPLEX and passed" i still couldn't believe it and just waited for the paper and the sure enough the green paper came and my score was 89. So this is how i studied.
How i studied: printed monthly google calendar and prewrote in each box 3-4 topics per day. so that was my goal for that day. I wouldn't force myself to finish if i was just reading to try to reach the goal, if you do that and not retain, whats the point? Study to retain, not rush through just to get through.
I spent 2 weeks started from scratch rewriting my notes categorizing topics together. then for the rest of the time i just memorized my notes and did quizzes.
woke up 7-8am, started studying at 9, ate lunch 12, gymed 2-330 or less, studied, dinner at 6, did math/stats til 8-9, then relaxed.
As you go through topics over and over again, it'll get faster and you'll do more topics per day.
I'll try to post a link to my notes. I used Tahur's notes so i would like to pay it forward with sharing mine as well.
if you have any questions please don't be afraid to ask.

- RXPREP: References, Hazardous drugs, Vitamins, the acronyms GPACMAN etc.
- PNN: everything else. their chartbook and stat book are really good.
- categorize the topics together like schizo/depression, alzheimer/parkinsons etc
- MATH MATH MATH: ( study study study): RXPREP book only, PNN, prontopassmath, SDN 120, Pharmacyquestionbank
if you have any questions please don't be afraid to ask.
