Hello everyone, I would like to thank my study partners I met on this forum. I am very happy this exam is finally over and I was able to clear my USMLE step2CK with a 272 score. I am glad I was able to get this exam over with. Anything is possible with hard work and when things get rough you need to intensify your prep and stay aggressive each day in your preparation. I would like to thank the online course I attended in GoldUSMLE for 12 weeks, online qbank UW, and ANKI decks . I was able to excel on the USMLE Step2CK, I studied for 12 weeks with a dedicated study partner and used ANKI decks, UW, and GoldUSMLE CK rapid review was very helpful and high yield for the exam. I'm a non-US IMG, tested earlier this fall and I thought I’d share my experience too. I completed the first round of Uworld and was able to score 74% didnt worry about the score, just tried to learn the UW concepts along with the GoldUSMLE course was a very good combination and helped pinpoint the key concepts that were likely to appear on the exam. When I did UW I focused on learning the concepts well and used it as a learning tool and didnt worry about the percent score on UW and didnt have time to do amboss. I was able to complete the 3 latest CMS forms for all subjects. I also completed NBMEs 11-14 and both UWSAs. Here was my progression as exam day approached:
NBME 11: 230, 12 weeks out
NBME 12: 242, 10 weeks out
NBME 13: 255, 8 weeks out
UWSA 1 : 265,
NBME 14: 263, 4 weeks out
UWSA 2 : 273, 2 weeks out
STEP2CK - 272
I am very thankful for my score and I am willing to help others for free and tutor for free until I match into residency. I may consider taking step3 before I start residency as I heard that theres not enough time to prepare for it when you are seeing patients everyday.
