for those who are already in dental school, or have already gone thru the process, when can we expect to hear from southern cal.? they are the only school i have yet to receive anything from, and no one in their office picks up the phone when i call. does this school even exist, or is it a phantom entry in my dental school guide?

Don't worry too much Mr. Benny

it's only September, too early to worry~~~ he hehe

***They will start reviewing completed application soon, maybe near the end of this month, and will send a weekly batch of interview invitations to qualified applicants.

The only thing Ive received is a letter saying that I need to pay up.

Don't quote me on this, but from previous years I recall that USC and UCLA are a couple of the schools that really begin their applicant processes late in the year. I want to say that October is when they really start reviewing apps, but if you do a search you can probably find better info.

MrBenny - I received a receipt for my fee back in July from them and I finally received a little postcard stating that everything is in and in a couple of weeks they will begin the process of reviewing applications. After looking at past posts here on SDN I came to the conclusion that they must start their application process a bit later than some other schools. Don't worry, I am in the same boat you are and I don't think their delay in communication means that we are 'screwed'.

Yup, USC lags. So dont worry.

If you have any specific questions let me know.
