Are there any books/cd's that concentrate on the PAT alone? The only things I'm really capable of doing at this point is math and PAT and the PAT seems pretty challenging so I thought I'd have a head start.

I don't know of any CD's especially for the PAT. However, there is a comprehensive CD called, Topscore which contains three full length tests that can be broken down into sections of the DAT.

3 Biology Tests
3 Chemistry Tests
3 Organic Chemistry Tests
3 Reading Comprehension
3 Quantitative Reasoning Tests
3 PAT Tests

The following few guides are recommended:

Acethedat: pretty close to the actual test as the questions have been written by students/test takers who truly know the appropriate level of difficulty for each section.

DAT Achiever: also very close to the actual DAT plus this is this only guide I know that features complete 3D explanations to the questions. You can download a DEMO version and take a look for yourself from the website.

Barron: questions given are much easier than the actual one but it has good suggestions/strategies included for each section, which may serve as stepping stone for beginners.

TopScore and Kaplan may be good in other sections but they are certainly not so for the PAT. Questions featured by them are very easy and simple. Worse for TopScore as they use the same sets of models for Test 2 and 3 on questions related to Apertures and Orthographic Projections. You may easily be scoring 20 -24 or even higher using their PAT guide and end up getting an 18 or lower in the actual DAT. 😡
