Hello,

I've been studying for the DAT a couple of days now and want to start practicing for the PAT portion. I want to purchase DAT Bootcamp for the PAT Generator, but a subscription expires in 90 days! If everything goes smoothly, I'd like to take the DAT during the first week of September. I'd hate to purchase DAT Bootcamp now and have it expire before I feel comfortable. Are the free generators on DAT Genius efficient enough for the mean time? Or should I just purchase DAT Bootcamp now and hope there aren't any setbacks?

Play the "eyeball" game. It'll keep your perceptual abilities sharp. It won't take very long to adjust to the PAT section, 90 days is plenty.

Side note: why are you planning to study 90+ days? Beyond a certain threshold it may do more harm than good.

Well, I'm planning on 12 weeks if everything goes as planned. I'll be following Ari's 10 week schedule and reviewing/taking practice test the final two weeks.

I second the eyeball game- that thing is great! You can also find apps on android for pattern folding. Also, I think the DATgenius generators are pretty awesome. For the mean time i would say theyre enough.
