The PAT section in the DAT consists of 90 questions. from those 90 only 75

are graded, and the rest of the questions are a pilot (experimental) questions.

The catch is that you never know which are the pilot questions.

GOOD LUCK 🙂 😀

I read that same thing on the ADA website. I couldn't get any ideas of the distribution of questions. Anybody have any ideas? Pray that it is angles!!

going off on a tangent here..so are all sections of the DAT going to contain experimental questions as well? or is it only for the PAT?

Yeah Just the PAT has it. The best thing though is not to look for them but to be fast. Timing is important, so focus on the questions and do your best!

I think it's because there must be a good statistical spread for getting these new questions right...they are just checking to make sure that they fall within range. That was my understanding at least.

Laundry, I believe you are correct.

Why do they do that?
Pilot questions, then why not just ask us 75 questions, we run out of time anyway...

They just really like to torture us dont they?
