For TFE, I think you get to learn some form of event countings either from Kaplan's or Barron's strategies, which will work on some or may be more questions on the DAT. But you need to develop quick and accurate skills beyond this approach, since this line matching step would often fail to eliminate all wrong answers and make you really stuck at the question itself.
I personally benefited a lot from DAT Achiever on this particular section. The problems there are no doubt a lot more challenging than the real deal, but the cool thing is that it provides you with very comprehensive solutions. While the 3D rotations amaze me a lot, what is even more priceless is the 2D overview that tells you all supposed views belonging to the right and wrong models. If you pay careful attention to these, you're going to see all proper relations between the projections and the actual model involved. You'll also notice several other things like how the model can end up differently say with only a change of a solid line on the view to a dotted one ...
