How should I go about studying for the PAT? The Kaplan class is bull****, and has not helped me one bit...

Any ideas people!

oh and these are the list of things I am going to purchase: Destroyer, Achiever, Top Score, Examcrackers for bio ... anything else necessary??

Sorry, I think Kaplan has great strategies for all the sections except pattern folding (which really just requires practice)

Actually, the while PAT, if it doesn't come naturally for you, requires alot of practice. If you're having trouble applying their strategies, I suggest seeking the help of someone who has done well on the section and have them guide you through practice problems...They will help you determine what to look for in each section of the PAT.

To be honest, if you're struggling with Kaplan PAT, then I don't think any other book really can help...BUT that's just me...

PAT is all about practice. Look into purchasing CRACK DAT PAT. Their most expensive program ($15) come with 10 full length PAT practice tests and plenty of extra hole punching, cube counting, and angle ranking questions. Their questions are much harder than the actual thing but it helped me raise my PAT score by 3 points.

For the PAT i only used kaplan. The PAT Jumpstart CD they give you with two 1-hour exams, helped me. I got a 23. I went over all the PAT tests also. For everything else I used Topscore and Destroyer.

do you guys have any tips on hole punching section? Seems like there has got to be some sort of logical trick to help see these faster.

maybe u should specify how it is not helping u one bit, and specify which section/method you have problems in particular.

there's no way for anyone to help you if u just say u have problems on the whole PAT while you already (plan to) have almost all the practice questions/guidelines there is.
