well, when i was practicing out of the kaplan blue book, i came up with a strategy that worked well, but then i took an Achiever test and the questions were tons harder and i'm not sure if the strategy would work really at all.
basically, i counted how many layers there were under where the hole was punched...if there were 4 layers, then there were going to be 4 holes from that particular punch once the paper is unfolded. it worked really well in kaplan because i could eliminate answers really quickly b/c usually there weren't the same # of holes in the possibilities, but i'm not really sure how well it could work on the real thing.
other than that, i've been eliminating answers. so if the final answer should have a hole punch in the corner, i'll check the answers to see if any of them don't have that.
i think i'll probably just end up doing what they suggest and unfold the paper in my mind.
