I had read Barron's PAT section which drastically improved my PAT scores on TopScore, 16 to a 19. However, I have a huge problem with keyholing. Anyone has any tips on this section? I just cant figure out when a certain plane of a figure is angled left or right.

Much thanks,
Rich

There're only three major views (Top/Bottom, Front/Back, Left/Right) to be quickly determined from and you need only to develop skills in judging correct proportions (dimensions) of object edges when projecting the 3D model onto the 2D planes. Kaplan has got rotatable 3D explanations but the models given are generally more simple than those you will see in the real thing. You should try DAT Achiever, whose questions are not only alot tougher; but will with its unshade feature make the 3D objects appear more sensibly to the questions presented, and critically help you visualize certain things not pictured by yourself.

I wouldn't risk taking the DAT with your current PAT ability given your mock score of only 19 from Topscore.
