I understand that the line counting method is somewhat out of date now. I was just wondering if that is because when using it you can get an answer that applies to under the line counting but is NOT the right answer? Or if it just makes it so you can't eliminate any answers sometimes. I was thinking about using it as a way to get rid of some answer choices but I was hoping that if using it I wouldn't get rid of a possible correct answer choice. I hope this is understandable haha.

Thanks.

Don't do it.

I understand that. It really wasn't my question. My question was if when doing it the choices that you get via elimination are possible choices that could have been right answers? Because if you can eliminate for sure wrong answers via the line method it may be worth it regardless of it only working on 4/15 questions. Thanks

Yes. You can do the line counting method and it will give you the WRONG answers now. They've made it so. You can not use it to eliminate answer choices.

As was mentioned above, simply, don't do it.
