This is from the wicked sick PAT tutorial.

The writer of that thread says the answer is B, which I can see, but I also think it could be D.

What do you guys think?

I think I see how you may be folding it...be careful...the 2 would be going in the other diagonal (top left to bottom right) therefore it is not correct

that and if you had the 1 and 2 as the sides, the top would have to be the 5 not the 4

Well the more I look at it....I think the 2 my be on the other side of the dice if the 4 is on top..

Exactly, even if D was a bit confusing, once you see that B matches up correctly, end of story, on to the next question.

yea thats one of the kind of reasonings i use during the pat as well. When i try everything and anything, and i see that NONE work except for one that i cant find that DOES work, i choose that one solely on the fact that none work.

OR

if i find one that WORKS 100 percent, i waste no time ( most of the time) and move on

D is not correct. Instead of the 2 dots you would have 6 dots there. D is a mirror image, I can see why you thought that.

For pattern folding, is the pattern on the other side?
I always assumed it was, but then I also keep getting questions from this section wrong, haha.

Is the paper on the other side just blank?

yes, the paper is BLANK on the other side

one of the " rules" for paper folding is to fold it AWAY from you

for dice folding when you are looking at the answers try to look at them as top, front and end. If you look this way, you will see the only answer works for this question would be B.
