Anyone know of a school that doesn't place too much emphasis on PAT scores?

I have a G.P.A of 3.35/3.30 (Cum/Sci), and AA:19, TS:19, PAT:16.

I have research experience, volunteering experience, shadowing experience and all the other good stuff.

Any suggestions?

my stats were pretty similar to yours. my aa was 19 and my pat was 17. my gpa was a little higher (like a tenth of a point). i got into marquette. it's a pretty good school, and if you are like me and don't want to move out of the midwest, it's perfect. The only downside to the school is the expense. don't worry too much about your pat scores though. lots of schools will look at your aa and not care that much about pat. (some schools though, live and die by it. find out which ones those are and just don't apply to them) hope that helps! 🙂

i personally think uop is just very number-oriented...from what i have heard from the posts in this forum, it seems like they don't really analyse students as a whole, but rather accept students based on the numbers on their dat score report...which is a bit sad i think...

Yea UOP is one of those schools that they interview based on DAT if u get 21's and up in each section your practically in. If you get the interview I heard from a couple of people that got in that your basically in.

so they do do it like that...see, i don't know how much i would enjoy a school that accept students based on a number...as opposed to their character as a whole...it sounds almost superficial...oh well, don't think i'll be applying there...
