Hello everyone,

I have been mainly using Crack the DAT to study for the PAT section, and also the Canadian Dental Association book. However, I need more study resources for the PAT section. I heard that DAT achiever is good, but challenging. Any input on this? Also, in your opinion, which PAT study material was most helpful?

Thank you very much,
Katie 🙂

I laid the foundation with crack, but built the rest of those house with achiever - honestly, achiever takes most of the credit for my success in the PAT section. Achiever seemed to provide material that was similar to the real DAT, just a bit more difficult/abstract. When the real deal came along, i felt well prepare by my achiever/crack combo to breeze through.

Just practice, practice, practice... My first CDP I got a 17 and after 1 month I was scoring 22, 23 on my CDP's.. And I got a 22 on the real thing. Buy the 2009 DAT practice tests the keyholes are more similar to that that CDP because they focus more proportions than shapes that CDP emphasizes... Also the hole punching is more like 2009 than CDP hole punching because it has 1/3 folds and **** like that... Do the line of symmetry method for hole punches your should 14/15 right for sure and if you get good 15/15. Towards the end of my studies I still did full practice tests but before I would work on my weak sections like pattern folding and angles and you will begin to develop your own methods for these sections. I actually got really good at pattern folding, its easy once you figure out how to do it...Honestly to get good at PAT you just have to start imagining the object in your head... Good Luck if you need anything PM me...

I started off with PAT and then moved on to bootcamp. Bootcamp is more difficult than cdp but it's great practice
