Hey guys,

This was question number 22 of Test 4 on Bootcamp PAT: (Correct answer A)

Couldn't it also be C? If that middle piece was attached to the top of the backbone thing, the top and end views would still be the same since it's base is a square. What am I missing here?

If it was C, wouldn't the middle piece from the top view have no solid line at the side connecting it to the bigger piece and instead be a dashed? This would represent a change in elevation that couldn't be seen from the top view.

If the answer were to be C, I believe there should be a dotted line in the TOP VIEW for the middle rectangle.

I agree with both of them. If the middle portion was located at the top to make answer C correct, there should be a dashed horizontal line instead of a solid for the top view.
