What would you say is the best way to prep for the PAT section? Its really pulling my AA score down and want/need to improve it....?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Kam.

all i can say is practice. draw shapes in your head and try turning them around. and AA doesnt include PAT.

PAT does not figure into your AA...all the other sections do. Your PAT score is separate.

As for what you can do to prepare...I bought Crack the DAT and it has a lot of practice problems. I've heard that the DAT achiever is a good tool as well. I have yet to try that one out though. If you find something that helps, PLEASE let me know because I'm trying to do the same thing. 🙂

Good luck!

Achiever and Crack the DAT are the two best ive used so far for PAT questions. I think Top Score is good too, but a little easier.

I took the DAT recently and did well on the PAT. I believe that practice is the best way. The Barons Book gives the best techniques to use to tackle each type. I followed the exact way they told me to do the problems and soon i was able to do them without always drawing them out. I got to a point where the only ones i missed were the Angle ranking. All i can say is practice practice practice. Time is also a big issue, the way i broke down the problems was like this:

1st section 10 mins
2nd - 10 mins
3rd - 5mins
4th - 7 mins
5th - 7 mins
6th - 10 mins

Review the last 11 mins. You will defineley need more time when you start but with practice the above time outline is definetley doable. Best of LUCK

I agree with above person that barons hives good techniques especially if yuor jsut starting out.
One thing I want to add to what i said before is that although Crack the Dat is good..it does have some bugs(it always tells me I have 180% correct or something crazy like that) and I noticed 1 error on a cube question..so its new and not perfect yet...
