Hello to all Optoms out there,

I have a quick questions that need your response regarding patching for an amblyopic child patient. How long do you normally patch? 1 month, 2 month...??? what is your main criteria for stop/continuing to patch?

very ambiguous question. I hope you are NOT an OD. Are you a student of some sort? HS Undergrad?
Child's age. Uncorrected acuities and best correction acuities. Dry versus wet refraction. Refractive or strabismic ? Your answer cannot possibly be answered by anyone.
What are you actually looking for and why?
