I have a friend who is using Pathology as a backup, I think with the increase in the # of applicants it was a very bad move.

Somebody else is applying to more than one specialty?.

This complicates the life of those people like us who are truly interested in pathology. This will probably result in some programs being overconfident in matching all their slots and then finding out they are unfilled when match day comes.🙂
