Are there any? I'd like to know what residency programs are out there, and where they're located. Are there any websites that have a database with this information?

http://www.pathologytraining.org/

You can order a bound volume here (or just use the website) detailing the vast majority of the pathology programs nationwide. It gives fairly detailed information: number of specimens, hospitals covered, faculty listings, etc. The material is written by the programs themselves, so there might be some exaggeration involved, though.

That site is very detailed- thanks for the very helpful resource.

On the www.pathologytraining.org website, there is a section named post-sophomore training. Is this the equivalent of electives for 3rd and/or 4th year rotations?

I think that always refers to a year long program from medical students that can be done after your second year... not very popular anymore.

They used to count for the fifth year, but they got rid of the fifth year, so now they don't give credit for anything.
