Pathology Informatics /Bioinformatics research

Dear SDNers
I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding pathology programs with an interest in pathology informatics and bioinformatics kind of research.
I know that university of pittsburgh has a lot of emphasis on pathology informatics, and stanford has a lot of interest in bioinformatics. Any other programs which you can point me towards to?

Id be really thankful for any kind of information.

As far as I know Pittsburgh is the top of this field. Here used to be decent, and they are transitioning informatics directors (looking for someone to basically do only informatics as well) as current one is retiring, so in a year or two there will be opportunities here, no doubt.

Hey Yaah, thanks for the info. Im torn between applying or not, since U Mich has a lot of great research versus the lack of any past IMG admissions over there.

I am applying to Pittsburgh though.

Id be glad for any other recommendations too....

Dude, just apply to wherever you want to see yourself going. If they don't interview, it's their loss and if you visit those places later in the future, you can land a hot steaming dump in the PD's office.

Yes, you do not want to rule yourself out by your own hand. What if your application stood a chance? You'd never know unless you applied!
