Hi! Thank you all for your help in recommending step 1 study books. I'm having trouble deciding between the awesome recommendations people have been kind enough to give.

for studying for step 1:
Which of the following (or something else) would you recommend:

1) pathophys for boards and wards
2) BRS Path
3) Robbin's Ques. Book

Thank you so much! 🙂

PS. Has anyone had experience w/ both BRS and pathophys for boards and wards?

all three are good in their own way.

BRS is a MUST for review
Robbins Qbook is VERY GOOD ofr questions if you wanna kill path on the Step 1
PBW has a great immuno summary and lots of other useful info if u like their foemat.

So get em and do them in that order BRS then Robbins then PBW

I read BRS several times then I went back and read it 1 chapter at a time followed by relavant q's from Robbins. Worked pretty well. Good luck!

I used BRS Path + Robbins QBook extensively. The combination really made the Pathology/Pathophysiology/Histopathology questions on the Step I exam quite easy.

im a big fan of boards and wards, and i know i didnt score as well as big frank and others on this site but i feel it was money. i starting reading a couple of sections i was being hit heavy with after my 4th block and all the answers were there.

just my 2 cents
