Patient consent for case publication?

Hey I have some case reports I would like to publish, but a lot of the patients have lost to follow up. The journals ask for consent form on many of them and I am not sure how to accomplish that.

Anyone with similar experience?

I think that's bad luck if you want to use their picture. Some places have general consent forms that you can try to use when you submit to a given journal.

Send to journals that don't require consent
some journals like the hindawi case reports just require that you state in the manuscript that u have consent and can show it if requested, As long as the patients are well de-identified they likely won't ask u for it
