so im doing CDP right now and i realize i HATE the figures in the pattern folding section that are a bunch of square figures covered with LINES going in different directions.
i hate them so bad with a passion, how am i suppose to know WHICH line goes where?! ahhhh so much figuring out to do....

Are you talking about the ones that fold into a cube with different patterns/lines in the corners?

They are impossible for me too, I take the DAT in 8 days, fml

YES! and theres like AT LEAST TWO in each pattern folding test. and along with not knowing how to do TFE like at all.....literally ......im screwed!!!!
goodluck on ur dat!!

for those cubes with arrows, dashes, wedges and what other pattern they have. Go via process of elimination.

Start by picking 3 sides that you can easily fold in your head and manipulate.

If in the unfolded pattern you see 1 2 3. eliminate any choice that doesn't match up. I"m picking something obvious here but you can apply it to not just cubes by any other figure or any other pattern.

for TFE what don't you understand & need help on.

I hated these too... and I couldn't really come up with some fool-proof way to deal with this 😕

Sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't... its pretty much hit or miss but I didn't see any of them on my test 👍
