PBL vs Traditional

Hey guys!!

Can someone explain the difference between PBL and traditional? Also, what would be some pros and cons of each. I have been doing all kinds of research and I must have completely overlooked this bit of information. If you guys have any input please let me know!

All kinds of data, studies, comparisons if you google problem based learning vs traditional (direct instruction-lecture). It will depend on your learning style as to what environment you will do best. IMO a good mix is best since the world operates in various styles. I like direct access and instruction from a professional. But peer discusions and problem solving help me to understand what I know, express it and what I don't know. Have fun exploring.
