To whom took the self study from the site above,

1. did the math part prepare you for real PCAT, which I heard there were a lot of hard cal. questions?

2. are there a lot of reading passages to practice (I am a slow reader) ?

Yes, that study guide is the best. took the pcat 3 times. first used barron, then Kaplan, neither help but when i used that study guide my score went up significantly. Worth the money

Now, I may be overreacting, but NYCStreetGenius has posted on the SDN forums exactly four times. If you look at all four posts, they are *all* about how great the pcat prep class is.

I hate to accuse anyone, but I'd be suspicious of shill posting.

how did it help you exaclty...how much did u pay ..and what are the contents they sent u ..is it only practice exams?

It has a lot of practice exams. A lot of the questions when I took the pcat were exactly the same as the practice test on the study guide they sent me. The study consisted of: Verbal, Reading, Biology, Quantitative, and Chemistry. You can check out their website: http://pcatprepclass.com/index.html.

They have statistics on how well people who took it did. I learned about the pcat prep class on this website. At first I was skeptical but after taking twice I thought I had nothing to lose so I tried on my third attemp. Yes I have posted repeatedly about how much it helped, because for me it was the the deciding factor on going to pharmacy school or not. I will be starting in august. Good Luck to you all.

it didnt help out much on math and chem, but both essay topics were that the pcat had were on the pcat course. I had an older packet, so it wasnt modified for the june pcat, so I didnt benifit that much from it. I am thinking on calling them to see if they have an updated course, and finding someone to go half on it, half the verbal was on the pcat as well.
