Hi guys,

I am planning to apply to University of Toronto’s Pharmacy school. I will be writing the PCAT for the first time on September.

I have finished studying Dr. C’s packages and Pearson tests. I found the Pearson tests to be a lot harder than Dr. C’s tests (This is mainly due to the several short passages in bio and chem sections of Pearson tests and wordy math problems in Pearson tests). Does the actual PCAT have several passages in bio and chem sections (or does it only contain one passage for each section)and too many wordy math problems?

What else do you think I should study to be fully prepared for the test?

PCAT website is selling multiple-choice practice tests. Are these the same thing as Pearson tests?

Thanks in advance.

The PCAT has changed their science section to 40% passages, so you will see plenty of it on the actual exam. I wouldn't completely rely on Dr. Collins since his study guide doesn't have much about passages. They their math is also more word problem based. You can find all this information on the official website. The multiple choice practice text are the pearson test. Where did you purchase yours? I want to pick up persons too but I already invested a lot in Dr. Collins.
