Hi i sign up to take the PCAT in Oct. and have no clue what to study, i also heard that the PCAT exam only allows you about 1 minute per question, if so how are you suppose to do some of the chemical equation ? 😕

There's a whole other forum devoted to the PCAT. That, and the search function, should be valuable tools.

For the record, I think there were only about 3 or 4 actual computational-type equations on the chemistry section; most of it is conceptual. 🙄

which is why you do not use the barrons prep book to study chemistry under any circumstances. I did and thought the whole test was going to be calculations using equations.

By the time I got to the test it seemed ridiculously easy compared to the kinds of stuff in the barrons guide.

the barrons guide is scary.

I found that with 30 minutes to complete the math and chemistry sections and about sixty questions that I had about 30 seconds per question. Oh yah don't forget no calculators, even if they were allowed you wouldn't have time to use them.
