Hi
Please give me some hints. I am signed up for oct pcat and I studied a lot during summer break and I specifically did not want to take two hard classes in fall. I am taking organic and physics and 2 labs, plus research. But it seems like it is taking so much of time that I can't study for pcat as much as i like too. I am getting nervous and i am worried wether i should push the test back. How are you guys preping for pcat along with school work?

Also, I am applying after i get me degree which is 2007, you think it is early to take the pcat now?

Thanks so much

It is early if you are thinking to apply in 2007. the best thing to do is finish all the classes like Bio 1 and 2, chem 1 and 2, organic 1, calculus, Ana/phy. once you finish those courses then 30 days will be enough to refresh all the stuff for pcat and to get a good score. I would suggest to take in Jan 2006 if you are done with most of the classes i mentioned above Becasue you will have the X'mas break or you can take it june 2006(don't take any class in the summer first session) but don't push to Oct 2006.

Take in jan 2006 if you don't get a good score you have one more chance in June and a good score on the june test and early application will be a good start for the admission process. I am also applying in 2007. I hope that will help you it is just my opinion.

I'm also planning to apply for in 2007. I'll be graduate by then even if I don't get into pharm school. But then again, my main goal is not to graduate! It is the get into pharm school. I"m in the same situation as you are. I only have 1 more class to go, A&P 2. I"m taking A&P 1 right now so I don't know whether or not I should just finish the course (both 1 and 2) and take PCAT in the summer or just take it this Jan.

I"m also getting nervous lately because I don't know how to set up my times in between those regular courseworks and study for the PCAT. Sigh.. I have no clue where to start now.
