So, the main difference between PCC and JONES reagent is just when it comes to primary alcohols, that PCC turns it to aldehyde, while Jones turn it to carboxylic acids?

But for secondary they are the same?

Have I gotten it correctly?

thx.

Yep. PCC will go as far as alcohols and aldehydes.
Jones, KMnO4, and alkali dichromate salts (Na2Cr2O7) will take secondary alcohols to ketones and primary alcohols to carboxylic acids.
