Pci

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Just started a hospital job couple of weeks ago (no retail...thank goodness!) and went in on a pci just to see what it's like. Meh, kind of boring except for when the doc shoots the dye and you get to see it flow through the coronaries on the monitor.

I guess everything was fine so he then injected some into the renal arteriole system to check for any causes there. Wow, the cardiologist was kind of showing off on that part, saying something like "Oh man look at that, dead center". That was kind of funny because I would have zero clue if he was slightly off.

It sucks that you have to wear full lead gear for radiation protection because it's kind of heavy. But then again, I'm out shape.

Oh and I sneaked in to see a TEE which I'll never do again, especially on a morbidly obese person. It's like listening to someone choke for 30 minutes. That prong looks like a huge dildo and man oh man do they jam it down fast. Ouch.

Hospital pharmacy rocks!!!!👍

You fly?

I first read your ID as Metar RX... I used to have metar on my speed dial to check for wind before I went on a 172.

Well, I've never been in a glider.. and I'm not sure I want to. You're right, a small plane is loud and bumpy. Even with my Bose noise reduction set.. I was one of the few lucky ones who were able to buy the illegal mic attachment before Bose sued.

I got about 30 hours in... then solo'd then quit. It's crazy dangerous to fly those planes. I flew a piper once..little different sensation than a Cessna.. then again 172 feels different than 150... so.

I quit flying 3 years ago.. If I had to, I I can fly a plane and land it.. like if I ever get caught up in those situations you see in movies where I'm running away from bad people... :meanie:
