Do students at PCO start going to clinic as early as first semester? The real question I am getting at is how necessary is a car during your first semester, first year.. I plan to have a car by end of 2nd/beginning of 3 rd year, but would rather not have one first year if it's mainly just going to be sitting in the parking lot all year...

You will have clinic starting the very first semester, a car is not necessary but very helpful. There are many posts regarding this topic, you can find them easily using the "search" box on top right.

How many hours per week do students go to clinic.. and for how long? I don't want to have to rely on another student to take me. Are there shuttles from the school?

There's no shuttle, you must find your own transportation. It's every other week till finals week for first year students, and each session is 4 hrs long.
