Hey all,

Well, I FINALLY got an interview to PCO! I'm extremely ecstatic. Sorry for the repetition, but can someone tell me how the interview was conducted? How the day was? What type of interview questions were asked? Who interviewed you?

I basically want to know what to expect. I've been waiting forever for them to get back to me and they finally came around. Now I just gotta get accepted, haha.

Thanks everyone, sorry again if this has been posted like 100 times.

hey congrats with the interview! i think you should get a packet about how the day will go. also the interview feedback gave me 90% of what was going to be asked. The weird thing was having 2 interviewers, one after the other, a closed file and a open file. both asked me "do you have any questions for us?" I had already asked my questions with the closed interviewer and didnt have much to say with the 2nd interviewer besides, "I will contact you, if I have any more."

I was interviewed by Lynne C., very conversational and down to earth. 👍 and by Jaime S. whom I felt very comfortable to communicate with and was very open to talk about anything/understanding. 👍 The lady in the office desk was also very nice. dunno her name though :/

Great school! Nice atmosphere for learning! nice clinic! Oh yeah get a philly cheese steak for lunch

The first interview, closed file, is the real interview. The second one is just an exit interview where they review your file and let you know if you need to hand in anything else. For example, I would have needed to get another science Letter of recommendation.

Yeah, you are right eheaps. I had to add a bit more information on my exposure with optometry.

Anyways, here is a bit more info. The exit interviewer is also required to "provide a written narrative regarding impressions of the candidate."

Hm, that's interesting, as Jamie, I believe is her name, came on the tour with me as well (I interviewed the day after Christmas, so there were not students). I wonder if that changed anything. Well, I did get in, so who knows.
