Hello,

I received a provisional acceptance to PCO recently. What does this mean? I am still taking some classes, so I'm assuming it means that I have to complete the courses. However, is there a minimum grade I need to receive for each course?

Anyone in the same situation as I am?

Thanks!

I believe that it means you must complete the required courses with a grade of C or better. I am also still taking one prerequisite so all of my acceptance letters said the same thing. Just make sure that you send them your final transcript.

When I was accepted it was originally termed a provisional acceptance. This was because they still had not received one of my letters of recommendation. However, the following day they e-mailed me again to tell me that I was definetly accepted. So, basically a provisional acceptance means that they are just waiting for something to come in, whether it is a letter or grades...either way you are ultimately accepted! Congrats!

i got the same thing to PCO! i am really excited bc this is where i want to go! i was confused about the "provisional acceptance" too .. for me they said they said they needed my grade for one other class that i am taking next semester before i graduate that is required and then they want my OAT retake scores.. but they did not give me any requirements for what score i need to get . so i am just going to make sure i do atleast a little better than last time!

Same with me.. recieved an e-mail. Just call them and ask what your provision is. for me it;s the calculus class that is remaining
